Between Thursday, May 12 and Sunday, May 15t 65 people died in Bangladesh, India.  These people died from extremely dangerous lightning strikes during their annual severe storm season.  On Thursday, 34 people died there from being struck by lightning, Friday there was 21 people, Saturday 7, and Sunday 3.

The extreme lightning occurring during these days was not just happening because the days were during the severe storm season.  The reason these lightning storms occurred was because of utmost cold fronts coming from the Himalayas and Southeastward hitting warm moist fronts coming from the Bay of Bengal.  Every year more than 100 citizens in Bangladesh are killed from lightning, but it seems this year there are going to be more deaths than usual.
